Turning 24 years old was definitely an eye opener for the changes I need to make to move in the right direction. That applies not only to my work life but how I want to manage my interests, such as blogging, video editing and writing.

My actual birthday is March 27, so since it was on a Monday I celebrated on Sunday, March 26th. Instead of turning up at a lounge or club I decided to host a birthday brunch for my close friends and family at Mamajuana's Cafe in Secaucus, NJ.

With the amazing menu and low prices I was extremely happy with how everything turned out. The food was really good. It was a buffet style consisting of mangu (plantains), bacon, eggs, pork sausages, etc. This was followed by rice, beans, skirt steak, shredded pork and other Dominican favorites. We also took advantage of the unlimited mimosas and Jack punch. A big thank you to my sister who recommended the place to me.
