Canvas Shoes

With the crazy weather change, I finally got the chance to get a taste for Spring. Temperatures have been ranging from 70 to 80 degrees on some days. Good thing I stocked up on a bunch of clothes these past couple of months.

My Spring and Summer favorites for dresses are definitely canvas shoes. Not only are these shoes comfortable but they are fitting for multiple occasions. I can dress down any outfit to make it appropriate for a busy day out in the city or a simple walk in the park. These shoes can be paired with jeans, shorts or skirts as well.

I got my canvas shoes from Target. You can also buy these at stores like Cotton On, Forever 21, Marshall's, Call It Spring, etc. There's no need to spend lots of money on these types of shoes. Canvas shoes are normally good for a couple of months, if you wear them all the time. So I would definitely expect to repurchase more down the line. I opted to get navy blue instead of black just because it gives a little pop of color while still remaining neutral.

I paired my navy blue canvas shoes with this burgundy satin shirt dress I purchased at my favorite online shop: Boohoo. This online store always has deals where you can get 50% to 70% off most items. I used to see a lot of people styling the satin trend on Instagram so I bought this dress to try it out. I love how versatile it is. I can pair it with sneakers, but also dress it up with booties or knee high boots.

I finished off my look by adding this jean jacket and snapback. Finding a jean jacket that is the right shade of blue is tough, but I found this gem at Cotton On. As for the hat, I purchased it at Icing, which is similar to a Claire's. My outfit probably cost less than $100 from head to toe, but you wouldn't be able to tell. I am always looking for deals so trust me I wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction.
