Swimsuit Ready

Leading up to our Cabo trip, we were so stressed trying to find bathing suits. We own so many but every time we travel we like to bring new ones to take pictures in. This was our first time trying out bathing suits from Aerie (from American Eagle Outfitters). The sizing was honestly the hardest part. I was looking at tons of reviews and YouTube videos to figure out the best fit for me. I might need to do a separate post just rating each swimsuit I purchased. I honestly loved them all except for one that I didn’t feel as comfortable in.

I will admit I was worried about sizing from Aerie when I first when to the website. I mean it was great to see a site that featured more curvy girls, but I was skeptical on the recommended size chart. I will got a Medium for the tops. However, I didn't want to chance the bottoms. lol I'm like let me just get a large and if it's too big I will wash them and put them in the dryer to shrink a bit. When I tried them on I was sooooo happy I got a Large for the bottoms. There was no way a medium was fitting up my thighs and covering my butt.

Just to get a comparison for sizing, in jeans I where a 9/10 or 38/39. It depends on how the sizes run in the different stores. Also, this was my first time ordering a bikini that was very high cut and I loved it. It's very flattering. Great way to hide your tummy a bit if you're feeling bloated. The next piece that was my favorite is this blue one piece. Normally, I hate the side boob action but this one made me feel really secure so I wasn't worried about anything falling out. And the color is really bright and photographs well. Overall, I spent about $100 total on all the swimsuits together. The tops and bottoms ranged from $17-$25 and the one piece was only $17. So, out is definitely affordable and the quality is amazing.

You can check out pics in some of these swimsuits in my previous post about my Cabo trip.

Don't forget to check out Aerie for swimsuits you might want to get for any upcoming vacations. They do have sale sometimes for 40% off so you don't want to miss out.
