Esraa's Baby Shower | Friends Vlog

Hey guys! This post isn’t about me for once. It’s actually about my friend, Esraa. She’s having a baby boy and we planned a cute friend’s baby shower for her and her husband, Idris. I wish I could say planning a baby shower is easy, but it was far from that. There is so much detail that goes into everything and all I can really say is shoutout to Pinterest for giving me such creative ideas. The behind the scenes of this whole thing was pretty all over the place, but I tried to make sure certain things were not missing at this shower. And here’s a quick shoutout to Jose (@heartbreak_papi) for letting us have the baby shower at his spot! He definitely saved the day.

For anyone planning a baby shower, I highly recommend you go to “Hobby Lobby”. This store is very similar to Michael’s but way cheaper. Other stores I went to were Party City for decorations and baby shower games, Barnes & Nobles for baby books, and Target for baby clothes and small stuffed animals.

I wish I started my shopping at Hobby Lobby, but nonetheless I was able to find everything I needed. For the few items I struggled to find, I ended up buying arts & crafts materials to DIY them. I DIY’ed the big “BABY” blocks, the sign in section, the card box holder, and the hanging baby clothes with clothespins and string. Other stores I went to were Party City for decorations and baby shower games, Barnes & Nobles for baby books, and Target for baby clothes and small stuffed animals.

And I just want to give another quick shout out to Germise (@ger.mise) for making the cake and cupcakes on such short notice. She made it with vanilla and strawberries and cream. It was really good!

If you would like to order any dessert for a special occasion please reach out to her. I let her know I wanted an elephant theme and she instantly suggested to make the cake above.

I won’t go into too much detail on the fun we had at the shower, you can see it for yourself in the vlog. I hope you enjoy watching it.

Should I make a separate post detailing how I made the DIY decorations?
