Dark Spots...WHERE?

I have to start this off with “BIH, I can’t believe it either!” lol I think I found a holy grail product and I honestly can’t get over how much my skin is glowing.
My friend, Krystal, swears by a lot of skincare and hair products. Practically, a product junkie but with good reason! She spent weeks telling me about a brand called “Urban Skin RX”. I’m like okay I’ll check it out, but it was so hard to find it in stores. The products under this brand are sold at Target and Ulta Beauty, apparently not the ones by my house because I couldn’t find it 2 weeks in a row. So, after work one Friday, Krystal and I went to the Ulta Beauty by her house and found the products!
So just a little background on my skin, it’s not dry or excessively oily. I might get oily in my t-zone but nothing crazy. After using a few Philosophy products my skin completely changed in terms of texture so dryness isn’t a problem for me anymore. Now that I have the dryness under control, my main concern I have with my skin are dark spots. My skin is acne-prone so I get flare ups of bumps and pimples here and there. This especially gets out of hand during my time of the month. The only good thing is I don't get too many, but I will have 1 or 2 bumps that leave scars. These dark spots that are left behind take forever to heal and disappear. Clinique’s SheerBlock SPF 40 currently helps protect my spots from getting darker but it doesn’t do anything to actually lighten them. So, that’s where Krystal came in and saved the day by pushing me to get the Urban Skin RX products.
After (August 9)
I used Urban Skin RX 3-1 Even Tone cleanser and Super Glow Serum to help speed up this process of lightening my scars. The first day I actually used the products on my face though I was scared lol like my skin was tingly. First thought was great my skin is on fire and my face is going to fall off thanks to Krystal. But then in a couple of days I saw my acne start clearing up and in less than 2 weeks my most stubborn acne scars were getting lighter. My skin was glowing and still is. I would definitely recommend these products. The cleanser itself acts as a cleanser, face mask and treatment all in one for a great price.
I got the cleanser that specifically caters to “Even Tone” since I want to fade my scars. They have other options for severe acne-prone skin and one for eczema or aging as well. So they do cater to all different skin types and problems.

I decided to change my routine about 2 months ago because my skin was extremely red and sensitive. The texture of my skin was really patchy and honestly I kept feeling a burning sensation. I’m not sure what even caused this reaction, but I’m so grateful that I was able to find a solution for it.
