27 | Golden Year

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was feeling down about my birthday this year. The virus literally cancelled “Aries Season”. Originally, I had the cutest outfit planned for a night out with my friends to celebrate, but that quickly turned into an indoor turn up. Myoshi really made my birthday special and regardless I’m just thankful to be blessed enough to see another year. It would have been great to spend some time with my family, but i wouldn’t want to risk anyone’s health with how hard they have been trying to enforce social distancing.
Myoshi blew up pink balloons and decorated the apartment. She also got me some cute gifts. I literally haven’t taken off the pink UGG slippers she bought me, they are so comfy! I also got a Nike hoodie, socks, Michael Kors perfume, and a candle that smells amazing, made by one of her friends. Check out her candles at GlamGrey Co.! Myoshi also ordered me some edible arrangements and baked me a cake, so that Adam wouldn’t have to go buy an ice cream with the way all these stores were closed anyway. He came with the LQ and hookah supplies so we could at least have some fun for my birthday. My friend, Krystal, had flowers sent to my house. To be honest, this was more than I expected! Once I knew I couldn’t do anything for my birthday, I didn’t think too much about it or even ask for anything. So, I was just extremely happy to spend my birthday with them.
My family ordered presents to get delivered to my apartment, which was really thoughtful as well. My mom bought me a Ninja bullet to help Me when I’m cooking. My sister got me a TGIN honey hair mask, sheet face masks, and a cute sweater. My brother got me a baseball glove.
